Tips to Keep a Clean Kitchen While Cooking

The last thing anyone wants to do is clean up after cooking dinner. If
you are like most people, you just want to put your feet up and relax
after a big meal. Now you can. By tweaking some habits while cooking,
you can minimize the mess and enjoy a clean kitchen.
Tips for cleaning cooking include:
1.Start with a clean kitchen – It might seem obvious, but working in a clean kitchen will motivate you
to keep it that way. It will be easier to find things and since you only
need to worry about the items used to cook, you will have less to clean
and put away.
2.Wipe away stains before they set – Spills and dropped food are common occurrences in the kitchen. When cooking,
have a cleaning rag near so that as soon as something spills, you can
clean it immediately. This will prevent food and liquids from setting.
3.Keep a garbage can or bowl near – Have your garbage near you when you cook. This allows an easy way to discard
trash such as peels, pits, and other waste. If your garbage receptacle
gets in the way, you can toss trash in a bowl to empty at the end. This
way you don’t have to make many trips to the trash and you can clean
up at once.
4.Warm bath for dirty dishes – When you’re cooking, fill your sink with warm water. You can place
dirty dishes and utensils in the bath while you cook. This will keep dirt
from setting in and make clean up easier.
5.Tidy during downtimes – Use your downtime to clean. If your sauce is simmering or your vegetables
will take some time to bake, you can use that time to wash the dishes
in the sink or wipe the counters.
